It is definitely worth the short trip from Paris to Giverny to see the home and gardens of Monet. Touring his home is interesting, but the gardens are truly magnificent. It doesn't take you long to understand why some of Monet's most famous paintings were inspired by his garden. Even an amateur photographer like myself was able to easily capture a bit of the beauty.
