Just off of rue Babylone in Paris' 7th arrondissement is the Jardin Catherine-Labouré, 29 rue Babylone 75007. With high walls somewhat hiding its entrance on rue Babylone, you may walk by this park without even noticing it. I was surprised to find it was a good-sized park with plenty of open space for relaxing. I enjoyed a few tranquil moments under the beautiful pergola wrapped in grapevines.
The park has a small play structure as well as a space designated for children under 8 years old.
It also has quite a few fruit trees and each one is marked with wood tags noting the tree's name and species.
Definitely stop by the park if you are in the neighborhood. And don't worry if you see very official looking guards near the park entrance, Hôtel Matignon, home of the French Prime Minister is just across the way.
