I seem to have Deauville, France on my mind this week. As I mentioned here, we spent a few days enjoying the beach, horse track and pretty Anglo-Norman architecture of this seaside town in Northwestern France awhile ago. As I was reminiscing about Deauville, I remembered a home there that I had seen on French designer Sandra Benhamou's site. I posted some photos a few months ago (here) of her Paris apartment, but I also admired Maison à Deauville that she designed as well. J'adore the clean and simple lines mixed with natural hues and materials.
And I can't get enough of the wallpaper that she chose for a number of spaces in the house. I know I swore I would never use wallpaper in more than one room in my house, but these photos have me rethinking that declaration.
Wouldn't it be fun to rent this place for even just a weekend?
