Earlier this week, I wrote about visiting the Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen, the staggering antique market just north of Paris (read the post here). I mentioned that the market is actually 15 smaller ones, and I usually try to make it to two or three of the individual marchés like Marché Paul Bert. Unlike some of the other markets, much of Marché Paul Bert includes a number of stand-alone shops (instead of stalls). Many of the shops are fairly high-end, but it is a fun place to do some window shopping. Last time I visited the Marché Paul Bert, I stopped by Un Singe en Hiver, 6 rue Paul Bert, 93400. I have to admit I didn't look at the prices, I just enjoyed the lovely assortment of antiques, décor and garden art.
