Last time I was in Paris I happened to walk by the store for Ceccaldi knives, but it was not open. I took these photos to remind myself to go back as I wanted to find out more about the maker of these gorgeous knives. Fortunately, I spotted this article in the New York Times about Ceccaldi knives. I was pleasantly surprised to find that these knives are handmade using traditional Corsican techniques and are being used in some of the hottest restaurants in Paris. Coutellerie Caccaldi is just around the corner from the Luxembourg Gardens at 15 rue Racine in the 6th Arrondissement.
